Allan Edwall is a great songwriter, I especially like his lyrics. He is such a wonderful storyteller. A few years ago I found his records “Grovdoppa” and ”Färdknäpp” in a used record store and they have grown to be two of my favorite albums.

When my dear friend Emanuel Svensson and I formed our band The Bitter and Sick and Die Alones we added several songs by Allan Edwall to our repertoire. I really enjoyed singing Allan Edwalls songs. Nowadays The Bitter and Sick and Die Alones is a trio and we mostly play our own songs. But every once in a while I still enjoy singing the words of Allan Edwall.
